Lan Inventory Program?

An Inventory program for my LAN computers

I want something to inventory my LAN.

Its a small LAN, just a few computers and some spare parts. Maybe include some warranty information, maybe suggestions about what I could add or not add to the existing computers.

Say a computer has a free memory slot and say I have that kind of spare ram in a box somewhere, maybe the program would suggest I use the spare ram.

There seem to be two types of inventory projects:

  1. One that is geared towards automation, a central server and client programs installed on client computers. The client uses scripts or a program to grab information from the client computer.

  2. The second relies on a human to enter the data.

I didn't search the general inventory (ie: like quicken) or ERP products.

I wrote an alpha state plugin to RPG Maker MV to try to change an actor's appearance based upon what they were wearing: It starts with the armor, and adding notes to them. Wallpaper Cycler I've created an Android app to automatically change my android phone's wallpaper. (Because, why not.) Description: Do you like change? Do you like your own images? This app if for people that want to change their wallpaper on a timer from a selection of images on their device or supported remote repositories. Why are we going back to the days where web sites were programmed to a fixed size and didn't allow you to resize the browser window to whatever the user wanted? My screen is 1280x1024 but I don't like the browser to take up all my real estate. I guess I'll either have to complain or install a firefox hack...
